Maximizing Experience
So I've found gaining experience points for your Heroes can be a little counter intuitive. Instead of focusing on number of enemy units killed or amount resources looted. The calculation of experience seems to be heavily dependent on your "odds" in the fight or rather by what margin you win by.
Example #1: I send all my units and kill an assortment of thugs/raiders/brigands numbering in say the few hundreds I lose some 40-50 units and my Wizard gets 132 experience.
Example #2: I send 15 axemen and 1 dragon against 14 templar. Now I lose 14 out of the 15 axemen BUT my Wizard gains.... are you ready? are you readyyyy?
2,827 experience!!!
So yea if you're winning landslide victories and getting practically no xp for your efforts now you know what to do.... win by the narrowest margin possible.

Re: Maximizing Experience
That seems wrong to me ... Templars should have friends at some point that are effective vs some of the elite creature types :D

Re: Maximizing Experience
It's nothing easy to upgrade a defensive commander. The worst part is when you send them to train and then a retaliation attack comes.
