i can't recruit forest giants
every time i colect 7 soul gems i'm moved to another map lvl and forest giants need 8 soul gems to recruit

When you move to the next level, your Soul Gems do not disappear, so when you capture 1 more on level 2, your total amount is 8, so you can train 1 Forest Giant Wink And as on the screen shot, the total number of Soul Gems is 15, so one more and you can train another Forest Giant.

You can also find some Forest Giants in Ruins of Decima and the maximum amount is a bit more than you can train Wink

then it must be some other problem because the "train" button for giants is greyed

the problem was that i had 15 soul gems and 1 giant colected from ruins Happy

Wink Yep that's exactly that - so you need to capture one more and you'll be able train another Giant. Unless of course, you're going to find another Giant in the Ruins.
